How to Mince Garlic.jpg

Follow the visual step-by-step guide to quickly and easy mince garlic to a perfect mince every time. For more help, watch the video.

Safety Note; The photographs were taken as I cut, and to be safe, I took my hand off the root, holding the knife to keep the clove steady while photographing the careful knife cuts. As you will see me do in the video, please carefully always hold the garlic gently by the root as as you make these cuts, being mindfully not to cut all the way through the root. This keeps the clove intake for easier mincing and your fingers safe.

Smash Garlic with Knife.JPG
  1. Using the flat side of a chef’s knife, gently smash a clove of garlic, this will make it very easy to peel.
