How to Poach an Egg

Poached Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 2-3 tsp white vinegar

Directions:

  1. Bring a pot of water with vinegar to a simmer

  2. Crack an egg into a bowl

  3. When the water is at simmer, take a large cooking spoon and swirl the water to create a vortex

  4. Gently drop the egg into the middle of the swirling water

  5. Let cook for 2-3 minutes
